Alec Hales
Head of Contaminated Land
Alec Hales, has over 15 years’ experience within the environmental consultancy sector. He has managed a range of technically challenging projects for both public and private clients across commercial, defence, industrial and marine environments.
Alec specialises in ‘Asbestos in Soils’ and has completed the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) proficiency module P405 and is a chartered member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences (CEnv). Under the asbestos in soils service, he provides land characterisation, ground investigation, analysis and liaison with stakeholders and contractors to identify remediation options using a ‘line of evidence’ approach while compliant with the Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012).
