After gaining 11 years experience in the construction sector, Kevan began his career with Lucion in 2012 as a surveyor/analyst. After progressions through the company, Kevan specialised in hazardous materials management in the marine and offshore sector, where he led teams of surveyors and analysts to deliver inventory of hazardous material surveys and remediation and ship recycling plans (SRPs) in locations across the world.

In his role as Principal Consultant in the marine and offshore sectors, Kevan now uses his expertise to deliver consultancy, inspection & testing, and management services to clients for hazardous materials on vessel fleets, offshore assets, shipyards, recycling facilities and onshore terminals. Managing asset environmental compliance and safety both through life, and at end-of-life to the point of decommissioning and disposal in the yard.
Kevan has previously acted as an approved Senior Expert working on behalf of the European Commission in the review, audit and approval process of ship recycling facilities that are situated outside of the European Union, and who wish to appear on the ‘European List’ of approved recycling facilities.
Recognised as an associate member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (AssocRINA), Kevan built knowledge and experience whilst working in Health, Safety and Environmental Management of Hazardous Materials across all areas of the Marine, Offshore and Built Environments over the last 10+ years, obtaining Certified Competent Person status from the British Occupational Hygiene Society ‘CCP (Asbestos)’, and Internationally recognised Prince2 Project Management qualifications.
