The Delta Dragons are taking to water again for the next dragon boat race in 2022. On June 18th our Lincoln and Nottingham based Geo-Environmental team will be taking part in the Lincoln dragon boat race in order to raise money for LIVES.
About The Lincoln Dragon Boat Challenge
Originally launched in 2016 by Ringrose Law, providers legal advice and services throughout Lincolnshire and Newark, the much anticipated annual event has been delayed for the past two years due to COVID-19. Taking place on the Lincoln Brayford Waterfront, teams of up to 11 people will participate in order to raise awareness and vital fundraising for local charity, LIVES.
About LIVES charity
Founded in the 1970s by two local doctors, LIVES provides valuable rapid pre-hospital care services across Lincolnshire through a cohort of critical care paramedics, doctors and first responders. Where location or geography makes it more difficult to access emergency healthcare, the LIVES team are there to deliver pre-hospital emergency medicine excellence, wherever it’s needed. The charity operates today through the generosity of local businesses, partners, members of the public and of course, their growing number of volunteers.
The charity needs to raise a minimum of £1.4 million every year to ensure they can provide this critical service. In order to further support LIVES, our Delta Dragons team are raising additional funds for the charity through a Just Giving page, where all donations go straight to the charity. You can donate via clicking the link here: Donate Now.
About Our Team: Delta Dragons
Our Delta Dragons Geo-Environmental team have previously participated in the Lincoln based event three times, finishing second during their last appearance in 2018. Following a three year hiatus (two caused by COVID) the team are ready to prove themselves once again, all while raising money for a vital, local charity. Additionally, the event provides corporations with an invaluable opportunity to have a team building day as well as fundraise for a good cause.
Our team, Lincolnshire and Nottingham office team members from our Geo-Environmental divisions as well as our Head Office function. Our participants this year are:
