Established in 2007, the NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC) is wholly owned by the NHS, offering tailored procurement solutions for the healthcare sector and public organisations. By harnessing collective buying power and specialised category knowledge, NOE CPC strives to provide compliant and innovative procurement options that generate significant cost savings for the NHS.
The Consultancy and Associated Services framework (NOE.0570) has been established on behalf of NHS Procurement in Partnership (NHS PiP), a collaboration of four NHS procurement organisations. This framework offers a streamlined solution for contracting authorities seeking approved consultancy firms and service providers, promoting compliance and efficiency.

An Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management system is a framework of policies, processes and procedures which help an organisation to manage risk, drive continual improvement and operate in compliance with health, safety and environmental regulatory requirements.

In the UK it is a legal requirement for all employers to conduct risk assessments of their activities and work environment. Employers with more than five employees must document these risk assessments. These are generally documented in workplace risk assessments which may be specific to particular areas, or activities, or a combination of both. Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are required whenever a property is sold, rented or newly built. An EPC rates the energy efficiency of the building, from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). It also includes recommendations of how to reduce energy consumption within a building.
From April 2018, rental properties will be required to achieve minimum energy efficiency targets. Landlords will not be able to legally let a non-domestic property with an EPC Rating of less than ‘E’. This relates to new tenancies and renewals. However, from April 2023, this will extend to all existing tenancies; with F&G rated buildings essentially phased out of the British rental property market.

The Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) is an approved method for undertaking compliance assessment for Part L2A. SBEM models a building’s energy consumption based on its geographical location, scale, shape, orientation, materials, construction, fuel sources, building services and controls.
