Lead In Paint FAQs

By partnering with Lucion for your lead in paint consultancy needs, you gain access to a team of experienced environmental consultants and hazardous material specialists who are dedicated to helping you manage lead risks effectively.

Our consultancy services are backed by a comprehensive range of lead testing, surveying, and remediation solutions, providing you with a single, trusted partner for all your lead paint management requirements. With our support, you can have confidence that your organisation is taking proactive steps to protect your people, ensure compliance, and create a safer, healthier future.

Delivering bespoke training programs is an essential component of effective lead paint management.

Lucion’s consultancy services include the development and delivery of customised training programs to educate your staff on lead hazards, safe work practices, and their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a lead-safe environment. Our training programs are designed to engage staff, promote best practices, and ensure a strong safety culture within your organisation.

Under the Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2002 (CLAW), employers and duty holders are required to assess and control lead risks to protect their employees and others who may be affected. This includes conducting suitable and sufficient risk assessments, implementing measures to prevent or control exposure, and recording the significant findings of the assessment.

Exposure to lead can cause a range of serious health effects, including lead poisoning, central nervous system toxicity, kidney disease, and developmental problems in children. Lead paint becomes a hazard when it deteriorates, chips, or is disturbed during maintenance, renovation, or demolition activities, releasing lead dust that can be inhaled or ingested.
